A "Theban Family of the Day" was selected to head the parade wearing togas, laurel leaf crowns and ride in gold chariots pulled by bicycle-riding Greek soldiers. The gospel-revival/pep-rally/Homecoming procession featured commentary by "Ridges Philbinylus" and "Appollonia Airheadenese." In addition to floats, there were cheerleaders and a giant inflatable Cyclops. Phil, Meg, and Pegasus were all featured in the parade. An angry Hades had smoke effects on his float.
