Hercules and the River Styx is the 6th episode of Hercules: The Animated Series, written by Jess Winfield and directed by Bob Kline. It aired on September 7, 1998.
Plot[]
Hercules, after failing several times in Shop Class with Icarus' father, Daedalus, becomes fed up and quits, calling it useless and thus insulting Icarus. Meanwhile, Hades forms an alliance with his brother Poseidon to move the River Styx (the edge of Hades' domain) to include Greece. All the heroes are punished by Hades with what they hate most - for Helen of Troy is was being force fed Feta Puffs, for Adonis it was a role reversal with him and a servant who is meant to serve the former's eternal punishment, for Cassandra it was Home Grekonomics, for Icarus it was Gym until he beat the stuffing out of a dummy that looked like Hercules and for Hercules himself, Shop Class. Now, with Hades ruling Greece, the Underworld, and the Seas, Hercules must take back his comments about Shop and use Daedalus' teachings to stop Hades.
