Hidalgo, Gertrude, and Octavius are minor characters in the Disney Channel series The Ghost and Molly McGee. They are a creepy family who do not mind encountering the strange or supernatural.

Collectively, the family is shown to be rather content with things that are creepy or off putting. They do not mind the idea of living with a ghost or a haunted vessel of any kind and the parents, Hidalgo and Gertrude, seem quite pleased with the idea of a haunted doll being their son's close companion.
Physical appearance[]
Hidalgo is a short, stocky man with brown skin, parted dark brown hair, a unibrow, and a twirly mustache and goatee. He usually wears a white shirt with a green cravat, a blue sweater vest, a purple coat, beige pants, and black dress shoes.
Gertrude is a tall red-haired woman with lighter skin and a nose piercing. She wears a long blue dress and black leather boots. She is usually slender, but her debut appearance depicted her pregnant.
Octavius is a small child with a red bowl cut, a unibrow, and a single tooth sticking out. He wears a yellow shirt, red dungarees, and brown booties.

- Character designer Justin Rodrigues confirmed on Twitter that Hidalgo and Gertrude are based on Gomez and Morticia Addams.[1]
- Their surnames have yet to be revealed, but fans have taken to calling them The Winchesters, after the famous haunted Winchester house.
- They are some of the few characters outside the main cast, and the McGee-Suksai family, that are naturally aware of the existence of ghosts.
