History of the World, Part II is an American historical sketch comedy series that premiered on March 6, 2023 on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally. It is the follow-up to the 1981 film History of the World, Part I, which despite its title, was never meant to have a sequel.
Synopsis[]
Mel Brooks finally creates his long awaited sequel to History of the World, Part I, titled History of the World, Part II. Various historical events are depicted, exaggerated, for comedic effect with the main four revolving around Ulysses S. Grant's quest for alcohol, the rise of the Russian Revolution, Shirley Chisholm's run for president, and the life of Jesus Christ.
