Hoo-Ha Owl's Pizzamatronic Jamboree is a family-oriented pizza restaurant located at Gravity Malls in Gravity Falls. It appears in the Gravity Falls season 2 episode "Soos and the Real Girl".
History[]
Stan wanders in the restaurant after a family and sees faces similar to Goldie, of which he had just disposed. He then sees that Will E Badger is a huge crowd pleaser and offers to buy him, but is turned down by Gary. When Melody sees Soos riding a toy train in the kiddie area of the mall, they strike up a conversation and agree to meet at Hoo-Ha's afterwards.
During Soos and Melody's date, .GIFfany appears on the video screens of TVs and arcade games in the restaurant and spreads to the animatronics (including Will E Badger, who Stan was trying to steal), who are taken control of and sent to attack Melody, Dipper, and Mabel and to capture Soos. Meanwhile, Stan is being attacked by Will E Badger, who chases him outside, but eventually gets chewed upon by Goldie, who was in the dumpster, distracting Will E until he was deactivated by .GIFfany's destruction. Soos later remarks that "he remembers the place was a lot more fun as a kid".
In "Weirdmageddon Part 1", Dipper, Wendy Corduroy, and Toby Determined seem to have taken refuge in the building, using it as a hideout and taking advantage of its garage-like exterior. Parts of two of the animatronics are seen next to Toby after Wendy shoots him with a crossbow, and a sign for the Jamboree is seen outside the hideout.
Trivia[]
- The restaurant's animatronic band is a parody of the Rock-afire Explosion, the animatronic band that played at ShowBiz Pizza Place until its closure in the 90s and can still be found at some locations such as Billy Bob's Wonderland. The big Beaver is based on Billy Bob the bear, who serves as both a member of the Rock-afire Explosion and mascot of ShowBiz Pizza Place, while the beaver cheerleader is based on Mitzi Mozzarella, a mouse who is also cheerleader themed. The rats in the barrels may be a reference to Looney Bird, Billy Bob's sidekick who also hides in a barrel. The spider is likely a reference to minor character Antioch the Birthday Spider.
