"Hooray for Iesha" is the twenty-seventh episode of The Proud Family.

Synopsis

Penny's favorite TV show "Iesha" gets canceled, leaving the girls to go to Hollywood to convince the writers to put it back. Once it does, Penny learns Iesha is not who she thought she was.

• Wizard Kelly is shown to be unwilling to face people he has lied to when it blatantly obvious he has no way of lying his way out of being exposed. (He told Penny that he had no control over the show getting canceled, but when the lead actress reveals he's in charge, Wizard blunders in and sees Penny. Knowing he can't lie, he tries passing himself off as a twin brother and leaves.)
• Iesha is a parody of Black sitcoms, specifically Moesha.
