Hop the Grasshopper is the main character in 1934 Silly Symphony cartoon, The Grasshopper and the Ants. He is voiced by Pinto Colvig. Pinto Colvig would go on to become the voice of Goofy whose signature tune is the song Hop made famous: 'The World Owes Us A Livin'. Goofy can be heard humming it as late as 1950.
