Hope Van Dyne (also known as Wasp) is a character who appears in the Disney XD Marvel Comics animated series Avengers Assemble. She dons the mantle of her mother and becomes a member of a new team of Avengers when the Avengers went missing.
Hope Van Dyne was created by Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz.
Role in the series[]
In Prison Break, Wasp accompanied Captain Marvel to bring Crimson Widow to the Raft. However, Crimson Widow escapes and recruits Zarda and Typhoid Mary to free all the inmates at the raft. She and Captain Marvel were able stop them and foil Crimson Widow's plot.
