Trivia[]
- In this episode, we learn that Pistol is 4½ years old. Later on, she claims to be 6 years old in the episode "Fool's Gold", suggesting that one to take place much later than this one. Though, she also claims to be "almost 5" in the even later episode "Goofin' Up the Social Ladder", suggesting that one to instead take place well before "Fool's Gold", and not too long after this episode.
- One of the examples of female aviators mentioned by Pistol in this episode is Emelia Airhead (a parody of real-life aviator Amelia Earhart), who also made a guest appearance in person in the TaleSpin episode "Bearly Alive".
- Surprising for a show like this, in which the city is populated by anthropomorphic animal people, two of the people seen waiting in line for the cotton candy machine at the Spoonerville Aviation Fair are drawn and animated as normal human men instead of as anthropomorphic animal men, making this the one of the very rare times that non-animal-based actual human people are ever seen in Goof Troop.
- In this episode there is a python named Monty, which is named after famous British comedy trope Monty Python.
- The gorilla Pete uses in his commercial is called Coco, a reference to the real-life gorilla of the same name, who learned sign language.
