Mickey Mouse takes a day off from his garage to take Pluto out to lunch and to the park. However, certain incidents cause him to be called back to the garage for him to handle.
Plot[]
The episode begins in the Roadster Garage, where Mickey is preparing for a day off with Pluto. Goofy, Chip, and Dale are having issues tasks but claim to Mickey that they will be fine and tell him to enjoy his day off with Pluto.
Mickey is seen at a drive through about to order hot dogs when he receives a call from Minnie, saying she got a job to paint Mr. Bigby's car but doesn't what color he wanted. Pluto is disappointed about the day off but Mickey assures him everything will be fine. Unfortunately, Goofy accidentally floods the garage with his Roadster and gets locked out of it. Mickey and Pluto enter through the top doors and use Donald's Roadster to open the garage doors, releasing the water from the garage. Mickey then tells Minnie that Mr. Bigby wanted his car to be fire hydrant red before leaving with Pluto.
Chip and Dale are charging Mr. Bigby's car but accidentally charge it up too much, making it go haywire around the garage and forcing a disappointed Mickey to return to the garage once again. Mickey and Pluto perform skateboard tricks to reach the circuit breaker and turn off the power in the garage before the car escape it. Pluto then roller-skates Mickey after the car, allowing him to shut it down and return it safely to the garage. Mickey prepares to leave again but sees the sunset, realizing the day is over. Pluto reminds Mickey that they still had fun but are missing hot dogs. Goofy cooks some on his Roadster before accidentally turning back on the crazy power in the garage as the episode ends.
