Synopsis[]
Mickey has arrived at Minnie's new house with Donald and Goofy, and he really wants to surprise her by painting it before she gets back. Mickey plans to add polka-dot paint, a big flowery hat, and a "cutesie-wootsie" bow to make Minnie "go all goo-goo-goo-goo-gooey hugs and kisses!" Donald gets a paint sprayer, which is sprays paint for Mickey, and Goofy wants to see where inspiration takes him. Mickey has got it all worked out, so he gets polka-dot paint and an old-fashioned paintbrush and hopes to get it done in no time. Donald is reluctant but Goofy says that they can agree to disagree.
Mickey paints the roof but Goofy paints the back of Minnie's old house. Mickey takes polka-dot paint and an old-fashioned paintbrush to Goofy. Donald pulls the generator of a paint sprayer instead of using a brush, but it works. He tries to spray the wall but a drop of paint shoots on the grass while it sprays him in the eye, angering him. He stomps on the paint sprayer, and Mickey sighs. Goofy needs more paint, to which Mickey shockingly finds that he's been painting the backyard rather than the house. Meanwhile, Donald fixes the paint sprayer, which proves to be too powerful as it blasts a hole in the wall. Mickey is mortified, but Donald believes Minnie will never notice. At this point, Mickey gets angry that Donald isn't following the plan, and the two break into a fight over the sprayer. During the fight, the sprayer hose gets tied up in a knot, creating a huge bulge at the point of blockage. As they realize what's happening, Goofy comes in and calls them out for "slacking off" while he's in the back painting. Suddenly, the bulge bursts, creating a blast of air that sends Goofy spinning around the yard, sucking up the polka-dot paint and putting it all onto the house, thus completing the trio's intended goal. Seeing the results, Mickey immediately starts gushing.
As Mickey is gushing over their work, the house comes to life and is horrified to see himself in the mirror. He angrily shakes the paint off, grows legs, dons a leather jacket, and rides away on a motorcycle. The boys are saddened by the departure of the house until they see all the paint has now landed on Minnie's real new house. Overjoyed, Minnie tells the trio this is the most amazing surprise in the history of surprises. The trio were soon realizes that the house they painted was wrong one but looked like Minnie's because of how it was made. They were puzzled at first and tried to understand who’s house they painted, but were soon fright that it was revealed that the house they painted and took off was really Pete's house, which explains the house’s attitude, when the latter have arrived home and shouts where his house is. Eager to avoid being on the wrong end of an angry Pete, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy immediately rush inside with Minnie so they can paint the interior, and as the door closes, her new house winks her left eye.
