"Hullabaloo'd" is the first segment of the ninety-third episode of Big City Greens.
Synopsis[]
Gramma needs help with a winter tradition but worries her family won't come through.
Plot[]
It's an extremely cold day in the country, a fact that causes Gramma Alice to declare that a deep freeze will take over due to the fabled Hullabaloo, an old man winter type figure. She warns the family that they must wear masks and shout as loudly as possible to scare away the Hullabaloo, lest they suffer a permanent winter. The whole family is, understandably, incredulous to this and falsely promise to help her before taking off to endure their own misadventures. While Alice prepares, Nick mocks her, Nancy goes shopping while Tilly hangs out with a visiting Andromeda, and Cricket and Bill decide to go visit Trey and see his man cave.
Alice prepares her own mask and hopes that the family will come, but Nick, dragging a heater with him, continues to make jokes at her expense. Andromeda tells Tilly that the country is a great place to find unusual things and immediately zeroes in on waiter Wayne whom she thinks is really a monster in disguise. The girls set a variety of "tests", but these only cause Wayne to behave indifferently to them. Cricket and Bill are shocked to discover that Trey's man cave is a literal cave that has absolutely no amenities. They attempt to leave, but Trey continues to entice them with something cooler, only to be lead into a false promise.
When Wayne downs a bottle of hot sauce, Tilly and Andromeda think he is a dragon and flee, only to run into Nancy wearing a dragon mask who scares them into running. Cricket, Bill, and Trey find a bear that chases them out of the cave in a mad panic. Alice slowly begins to think that her family has abandoned her, until she sees everyone running and screaming from their respective events. Even Nick, whose heater gets unplugged, suddenly begins panicking too and screams just as the sun goes down. Alice thanks her family for coming, though it's obvious they didn't even remember the tradition, before the bear continues chasing the family into the night.
