"Humuhumunukunukuapua'a" is the eleventh song on the High School Musical 2 soundtrack. It was not used in the movie itself but is part of a deleted scene. It is performed by Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) and Ryan (Lucas Grabeel). It was also included on the Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure soundtrack. The scene was included on the DVD release of the film and the version that can be found on Disney+.
Summary[]
Mr. Fulton (Mark L. Taylor) intercepts Troy (Zac Efron) en route to his date with Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) and brings him to a hidden stage. Troy then watches Ryan and Sharpay (Lucas Grabeel and Ashley Tisdale) perform the song. After the performance is over, Sharpay tries to convince Troy to perform the song with her in the talent show. Troy distracts Sharpay by complimenting her on her shoes and escapes to meet Gabriella.
