Huntsman is a character who appears in the 2025 live-action remake of Snow White. He is based on the character with the same name from the original film.

Personality[]
Despite his title, the huntsman is a very kind man who cares for Snow White and dislikes the queen's wants to kill the young princess. He does not like harming others and would rather take the blame for failing his tasks, rather than hurt others.
Role in the film[]
After the Evil Queen becomes the new ruler of the castle, she demands the huntsman to send Snow White into the forest to kill the princess, because the queen wants to be the "fairest of them all" and despises Snow. However, the huntsman sets Snow free instead as he believes she has not done anything bad, seeing her as an innocent girl. The huntsman later returns to the castle and placed the apple Snow White gave him inside the Heart Box to trick the queen into believing he had killed her. The Queen later learns from the Magic Mirror that the huntsman set her free. She is not happy with his actions, and orders him to be taken down to the dungeon. After finding her whereabouts, the Queen decides to take matters into her own hands by poisoning the princess, which she succeeds.
When Jonathan is taken down to the dungeon, the huntsman learns of Snow's whereabouts. Jonathan tries endlessly to escape his shackles. The huntsman continuously tells him it is impossible to escape, but Jonathan is adamant, because Snow White taught him to believe again, and he doesn't want to give up on her. Moved by his words, the huntsman helps him escape. They escape together through the underground tunnel and part ways.
After the Queen is defeated, Snow White and Jonathan marry and become the new rulers. The huntsman lives with them in the castle, with the kingdom being ruled with hope and happiness once more.

- He has a darker skin, instead of pale skin.
- Unlike the original character, who filled the Heart Box with a pig's heart, this version of the character puts an apple inside the box.
