Hydro-Squirter is a short from Mickey Mouse Works and House of Mouse starring Ludwig Von Drake.
Synopsis[]
After struggling with the countdown for his rocket, Professor Von Drake decides to think of a way to deal with it by taking a shower. Unfortunately, Von Drake has trouble with his shower, so he makes some adjustments and accidentally turns it into a teleportation device. With each twist of the faucet, towel-clad Von Drake finds himself in another embarrassing situation.
Plot[]
The short starts with Professor Von Drake strapped to his personal rocket, which is on a countdown to launch. However, the countdown becomes stuck at two, much to Von Drake's annoyance. Unstrapping himself, he decides to do some thinking by taking a shower in his bathtub. But by the time he starts showering, the shower head stops releasing water, even releasing cold and hot water (in the form of ice cubes and fire, respectively) when Von Drake tries to adjust the valve. This prompts him to modify his bathtub.
After a few modifications, the bathtub (now called the Von Drake Bathtub-Shower-for-the-Genius-Thinking-and-the-Solving-of-the-Problems) is now equipped with hydromatic water jets, self-adjusting hot-and-cold-running nozzles, a remote-controlled curtain, and an alarm to scare thieves away. Von Drake turns off the alarm and resumes his shower. However, once Von Drake turns the shower on, the bathtub disappears from the laboratory and ends up in a four-way intersection, where a few cars avoid it and a truck stops to honk at it. Assuming a delivery, Von Drake steps out of the bathtub to see the truck standing in front of him. After a car zoomed past him, causing him to briefly lose his towel, Von Drake realized that he had somehow turned his own shower tub into a teleporter. He compliments himself for his intelligence right before he notices his tub being towed away due to the alarm being turned off. He jumps back in his tub and activates the teleporter again. He eventually ends up teleporting into a lake, a rollercoaster track, a lion's den (whereas the lions attack him due to his tub's alarm disturbing them), a steep slope, and four houses before ending up in his laboratory. Just then, Von Drake thought of an idea for fixing his rocket with the broken countdown.
He places the rocket inside the tub, and both machines are teleported elsewhere. Von Drake receives a call from Mickey, who reveals that the rocket and bathtub ended up in Mickey's house. Von Drake denies this and hangs up, ending the short.
