"I Didn't Know That I Could Feel This Way" was performed in voiceover by Roger Bart (Scamp) and Susan Egan (Angel), who also were the singing voices of Hercules and Megara. The romantic love song of the film, it shows the deep, close, blossoming romance between Scamp and Angel. It features the dogs walking through the same park that Lady and Tramp walked through in the Lady and the Tramp. At the end a scene, similar to the spaghetti scene from Lady and the Tramp occurs, but with Scamp and Angel wolfing down the pasta instead sharing a spaghetti kiss that Lady and Tramp did. This is quite similar to puppy love as childhood sweethearts, as Scamp and Angel clearly have strong romantic feelings and infatuations for each other as young puppies.
Lyrics[]
Scamp: I never had this feeling before
She gives me shakes and shivers I can't ignore
And I see that there's more now
Than just running free
Angel: I never felt my heart beat so fast
I'm thinking of him first and of myself last
And how happy I want him to be
Scamp: It's amazing someone in my life
Just might be loving me
I didn't know that I could feel this way
Angel: It's so crazy
Something in my life
Is better than a dream
I didn't know that I could feel this way
Scamp: She make me warm and happy inside
Angel: He smiled and I get dizzy and starry eyed
Both: All these feelings I have
Have me asking
Angel: Can this be love?
Scamp: Can this be love?
Angel: It's crazy
Both: I can hardly speak
At the same time: Whenever he says hi/Whenever she says hi
Angel: I didn't know that I could feel
Scamp: I never dreamed that I could feel
Angel: I
Both: Didn't know that I could feel
This way
