"I Know What You Did Last Slumber" is the first segment of the seventeenth episode of the Disney Channel animated series, Hailey's On It!
Synopsis[]
When Hailey's innocent sleepover prank goes awry, she must choose to live with the guilt or come clean.
Plot[]
Hailey is inviting her friends Becker, Lucy, and Kennedy to a sleepover which they all happily accept. She attempts to invite Tina, but she already has other commitments to an online crafting session. Scott, of course, is on edge about the girls doing something without him, while A.C. arrives to inform everyone that he acquired a new jet ski, the Wavecat, that he will be using for an upcoming water show. Obviously, no one is interested in his plans. The whole sleepover turns out to be part of the next item on Hailey's list, to pull an all-nighter. The girls are having fun, but Kennedy tucks in for the night early and the girls are unable to prank her due to her fortified sleeping bag.
Hailey, Becker, and Lucy all decide to pull a prank on Scott instead by exploiting his fear of werewolves. The prank works and the girls next pull a craft bomb on A.C.'s jet ski. Just as they are walking away however, the jet ski comes loose, rolls down a hill, flies off a cliff, and explodes. Traumatized, Becker declares that she'll dispose of the evidence and that the three of them would make a pact to never speak of what they did. In the morning, Kennedy awakens, completely oblivious to the events of last night. Hailey succeeds in her all-nighter, but does not tell Beta or Scott what happened. The next day,A.C. bemoans the loss of his jet ski and Kennedy decides to take it upon herself to solve the case, much to Hailey's concern.
The girls begin seeing googly eyes (used during their craft bomb) everywhere before the jet ski is fished out of the ocean. The beach police have concluded that Tina is the culprit having traced the googly eyes to her crafting kit and, worst, she has no alibi. Hailey decides to come clean and reveals that she and her friends were the culprit (though Becker quickly distances herself from the crime), but Kennedy stops her. She concludes that it was A.C. himself. His mother is the real owner of the Wavecat as A.C. himself is too short to ride it and hadn't even registered for the water show. But since he had boasted all around town his intent to pull off wicked stunts in the water show, his lies had gotten too big, so the night the girls craft bombed the Wavecat, he pulled the linchpin from the trailer, resulting in its destruction. When A.C. challenges her to present proof, she opened his functional hidden pocket from which the linchpin falls out. The authorities punish A.C. by sentencing him to do five hours of beach clean up during the water show. Hailey is relieved and Scott reveals that he was leaving googly eyes everywhere because he thought they were cool.
