"I Will Kick No More Forever" is the first segment of the seventh episode of Recess.
Synopsis[]
After getting outplayed in a kickball game by Ashley Q., Vince decides to never play kickball again.
Plot[]
Vince gets numerous accolades from his classmates for being a kickball champion. He successfully manages to kick the ball farther than anyone on his team. One day, the game is down and Ashley Q. is called up to kick. With absolutely zero effort, she manages to kick the ball farther than Vince (humorously depicted with the ball ending up in China). Ashley Q. is hailed as the new kickball champion, making Vince feel uncomfortable. When he tries to play in later games, his kicking ability falters and he becomes a joke. On the next kickball game, neither side wants to pick Vince and he gets fed up. He announces his retirement from kickball declaring, "I will kick no more forever!"
Vince becomes a slob, drinking root beer and eating donuts while watching video footage of him in his "glory days". The Gang stop by to try and get him to come back to school, but he refuses. T.J. suddenly recalls a project that Gretchen had worked on previously that could help Vince with his game and she concurs. In Gretchen's bedroom, which is full of unusual science equipment, she introduces glorp, a slushy, yet moldable red substance that can bounce off the walls easily. The Gang decide to create a fake kickball with it and get Vince to kick it so that he can regain his gumption to play again.
The players get together the next day and Mikey fakes an injury so that Vince can fill in. T.J. gives him a motivational heart to heart that pushes him to come back. Just as planned, he kicks the ball and it goes even higher than before (humorously depicted as it flying into space and hitting a space shuttle's antenna). Vince regains his fame and the Gang celebrate, but feel bad as it was not Vince's true prowess that kicked it. Gus suddenly arrives and reveals that Vince kicked the real ball as the glorp that he had suddenly disappeared. The Gang celebrate, but question where the glorp went. It is quickly revealed that Miss Finster took it and accidentally tosses it away with the other balls, creating a large chain reaction.

Trivia[]
- The "Glorp" devised by Gretchen is similar to "Flubber", the super-substance from The Absent-Minded Professor.
- In certain airings of the episode, Ashley Q.'s kick is altered to have it land in the dumpster, recycling footage from a later episode, specifically from "The Rules". In its original airing, reinstated for Disney+, it instead ends up landing in the middle of Beijing, where a Chinese government official claims it as property of the state.
