- The poster that shows Scrat holding up his acorn and Baby Scrat on a pointed ice cliff parodies the "Circle of Life" musical number from The Lion King.
- This series marks the first Ice Age television show and the second spin-off in general after The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild.
- This series also marks the final project to be completed by Blue Sky Studios following the studio's absorption into 20th Century Animation on April 7, 2021; the series was released posthumously one year later.
- Additionally it marks the sole production from Blue Sky to be produced under Disney, not counting the 2022 animated short titled "The End" and Nimona, which had been scrapped by Disney after the studio's dissolution and later picked up by Netflix, and the second production from Blue Sky to be released through Disney after Spies in Disguise.
- This is due to Spies in Disguise being completed prior to Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox, so Disney instead handled the advertising and distribution as it awaited release.
