Idina Menzel: Which Way to the Stage? is a documentary film directed by Anne McCabe. It was initially released on November 13, 2022 in New York City as part of the 2022 DOC NYC Festival, before making its Disney+ debut on December 9 later that year.

Synopsis

The documentary follows Idina Menzel's 2018 arena tour co-headlining with Josh Groban culminating in her dream performance, Madison Square Garden. Throughout, Menzel revisits some places from her past and attempts to juggle being a performer and being a mother to her son.

Trivia

• The title is a reference to a line from Rent, which Menzel also jokes about in the film.
