"In Space, No One..." is the fifth episode of the 20th Television series Alien: Earth. It premiered on September 2, 2025.

Synopsis[]

An outer-space vessel in peril leads to a dangerous reckoning.

Plot[]

A flashback from two weeks prior, shows how the outbreak occurred on the Maginot. Marrow is woken from cryosleep, after a fire damages the ship controls and released two facehuggers who have attacked Dinsdale and Bronski. Dinsdale dies due to the facehugger, acid-blood when they tried to cut it from him, and Bronski is placed in cryo-sleep to prevent the gestation of the Xenomorph, which fails. In the panic, the space-leeches lays its larva in water, which is drunk by Malachite and the octopus-like alien also escapes. Chibuzo and Rahim are killed trying to extract the larva from Malachite, when they release toxic gas as a defense. Teng is killed by the Xenomorph. Petrovich is revealed to be behind the fire, at the order of Boy Kavalier, who promises him a hybrid body if the ship crashes in Prodigy territory. Petrovich, on being found, kills Clem and is in turn killed by Morrow, who retreats to the control room, while Zaveri dies outside the door, when he refuses to let her in. With everyone dead, Morrow locks himself in a panic room and awaits the crash. Back in the present, Morrow talks to the current Yutani and talks about retrieving the stolen cargo and killing Boy Kavalier in the process.

Trivia[]

  • The episode's title is an obvious nod to the Alien franchise's tagline, "In Space, No One Can Hear You Scream".
