Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Foliated Cross is an upcoming dark ride in Tropical America at Disney's Animal Kingdom. It will open in 2027, It is based on the Indiana Jones series, replacing Dinosaur in DinoLand U.S.A..

History

In September 2023, Disney Experiences Josh D'Amaro hinted that Indiana Jones was being considered as a replacement for Dinosaur, which utilizes a similar ride system to Disneyland's Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye. The following November, D'Amaro reassured skeptics of the franchise's addition to a theme park established around wildlife conservation that the experience would be in keeping with the spirit of Animal Kingdom, a park which he had previously been vice president of.

On April 4, 2024, Walt Disney Imagineering released a clip instagram previewing upcoming changes to Animal Kingdom and included footage from a research trip to the Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico to the study the "culture, art, and the archaeology of the Maya."
