Inside Pixar is a documentary series for the Disney+ streaming service about the personal stories of Pixar employees, it premiered on November 13, 2020.


The docu-series of personal and cinematic stories that provide an inside look into the people, artistry, and culture of Pixar Studios.


  • The first episode of the series, "Inspired: Kemp Powers, Writing Something Real", largely focus' on Soul, which hadn't been released on Disney+ at the time of the episodes release.
  • Multiple scenes of the second episode. entitled "Inspired: Deanna Marsigliese, The Art of Pivot", show early looks at the Pixar film Luca.
    • At the time of this episodes release, Luca had not yet been released to the public or even had a trailer released.
  • Cars 3 is revealed to be the film that made Pixar, and Jessica Heidt, realize their unequal gender ratio in their films and inspired them to fix the gender ratio in their films from then on.
