- Multiple scenes of the second episode. entitled "Inspired: Deanna Marsigliese, The Art of Pivot", show early looks at the Pixar film Luca.
- At the time of this episodes release, Luca had not yet been released to the public or even had a trailer released.
- Cars 3 is revealed to be the film that made Pixar, and Jessica Heidt, realize their unequal gender ratio in their films and inspired them to fix the gender ratio in their films from then on.
