Instantanegirl (real name Sophie Slugfoot) is a character from the Disney Channel animated series Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. She is a supervillain with powered legs that are use to commit crimes by running at fast speeds.

Personality[]
Sophie is loud and domineering and apparently has the goal of wanting to prove herself to others, particularly that she can be an effective villain for someone like Moon Girl. Because of this she is fame driven, implied to be the result of her losing her Olympic status following the revelation that she was juicing up. This also implies that she is willing to use cutthroat methods to get what she wants. However, she is also shown to be a complainer and childish as she picked the name Instantanegirl because it sounded like "Instantaneous". When mocked about it, she responds in a whiny tone and even fumbles her own name.
Physical appearance[]
Sophie has tan brown skin, pink lips, and long brown hair tied down into two pigtails. In flashback, her Olympic wear consisted of a tank top and shorts that were dark bluish-black with a yellow line going down the sides and black running shoes. When she creates her costume, it is her Olympic wear was expanded to cover her entire body and also has a mask that covers the top of her head and has a large orange glasses that cover over her eyes. Additionally, her pigtails still stick out and her legs are noticeably more muscular looking, due to the formula she uses.
Powers and abilities[]
Sophie has the ability to run at super speeds. This is only possible through the use of a muscle compound that she injects into her legs. It is unknown if the effects are permanent or if she has to continuously take them. Despite this power, she is still not used to it, as she was easily duped into running into a wall and knocking herself out, showing that her processing reflexes are not as accurate as most speedsters.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur[]
Instantanegirl made her debut in "Run the Rink", where she appeared as a minor antagonist. After Lunella Lafayette used her status as Moon Girl to invite people to Roll With It for one night only to see her, Instantanegirl shows up. Before she could enter, she is stopped by Casey Calderon who wouldn’t let her enter without a paying the door charge. After paying the door charge, she threatened Moon Girl with taking her out. Moon Girl then who she was, with the Backstory Man providing her origin. It’s revealed that her real name was Sophie Slugfoot and that she was a former Olympic athlete, who took a muscle compound serum giving her powered legs that she uses to run at fast speeds. But after being banned for life from the Olympics, she turned to a life of crime and became the supervillain named Instantanegirl. Moon Girl and Casey then subjected that she should change it to Speedygirl being more easier to remember, angered by this she then attacked Moon Girl but crashed into the wall knocking her out. Instantanegirl continued to be passed out, as she was seen floating after Moon Girl defeated Gravitas.
Instantanegirl made a cameo appearance in "Moon Girl's Day Off", where she was seen being defeated by Moon Girl along with some other villains in the opening sequence.
Trivia[]
- Her name is pronounced Instan-taynee-girl. Technically, her name should have a hyphen, or at least a space in the middle, such as Instantane-Girl, though this could be due to her own incompetence over not picking a better name.
- Her powers and origin are, in fact, a real-world reference to the use of illegal steroids.
