Iron Man (real name Anthony "Tony" Edward Stark) is one of the main protagonists in the Disney XDMarvel Comics animated series Avengers Assemble. He is a genius inventor and billionaire industrialist who designed a mechanized suit of armor powered by the Arc Reactor in his chest, becoming the armored superhero known as Iron Man. He works as a futurist and is the leader of the superhero team, the Avengers.
Iron Man was created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Don Heck.
Stark is a Caucasian male in his early 30s. He has brown hair in the first few episodes of the series, but in Super-Adaptoid, it changes to his classic black hair. He has brown eyes and a goatee. He is also tall, wears a black t-shirt with brown pants, and uses a wristwatch for communication. He has his Arc reactor located in his chest. With his armor, he looks like a humanoid robot with a red and gold color scheme. The Arc Reactor is still noticeable. He has a golden mask that can flip up to show his face.

In his first full appearance, "Flight of the Iron Spider", Nick Fury told Spider-Man to stay away from Iron Man, as Iron Man serves as an idol to Spider-Man. In turn, Iron Man likes Spider-Man's style and even invited him to Stark Towers. During this visit, Iron Man gave Spider-Man the Iron Spider Armor. He reappeared in the episode "The Iron Octopus".
Iron Man is a guest hero in the series. First appearing in "Hulk Busted", he aids the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. in fighting Blastaar before teaming up with them when the Leader hijacks the Hulkbuster armors.
Iron Man is one of the main characters in the series. After the apparent death of Captain America, Tony reforms the Avengers formerly dissolved. After Steve turns out to be alive, Red Skull steals Iron Man's armor, leaving Tony in an almost deadly state. After he recovered and the Manor was destroyed he and the other Avengers used the Avengers Tower as a base of operation during all the series.
Adrian Pasdar originally voiced Iron Man in Ultimate Spider-Man, and the first three seasons of Avengers Assemble, as well as assorted appearances in media taking place in this universe. He was replaced by Mick Wingert, starting with the fourth season of Avengers Assemble.
