"It's Circus Day Again" is a deleted song from Disney's 1941 feature-length animated movie, "Dumbo"[1]. It was originally planned to be sung in the parade scene, as its instrumental underscore was heard in the final cut.[2]
Lyrics[]
What a celebration, hear them shouting in the street
For it's circus day again
Half the population will be fighting for a seat
For it's circus day again
There'll be the polar bear, there'll be the big giraffes
The clowns will all be there, they'll get a million laughs
You'll never see a frown, there won't be one in town
You'll find that everybody's happy, for its circus day again
Blank down your dollar
And you'll see the greatest show on earth
You'll have no holler
Oh, we're here to see you get the money's worth
Spend for a quarter
And we're sure the price is not too steep
As a little filler, you can see the little thriller
Madam, see them in their death in tryingly
Hope you're congregating now to see the big parade
For it's circus day again
Everybody's waiting so I hope it's not delayed
For it's circus day again!
