"Itsy-Bitsy Spiders" is the first segment of the nineteenth episode of Spidey and his Amazing Friends. It premiered on March 11, 2022 alongside "Gobby's Rotten Pumpkin Hunt"
Synopsis[]
Doc Ock shrinks Spidey, Ghost-Spider, and Spin down to the size of actual spiders.
Plot[]
Peter has got himself an ant farm, and shows it to Gwen and Miles. While watching them build ants, the notice a disturbance outside, further confirmed by WEB-STER. Somebody is stealing all the city's electricity. The Spiders suit up and swing into action.
They track where the city's power is being taken to an abandoned warehouse. The go inside, and find Doc Ock and her secret lab. She is the one who has been stealing the city's electricity, so she can power her latest invention: a shrink ray. When the Spiders show up, Doc Ock uses her shrink ray to shrink them. Then she puts them in a glass tank so they cannot escape or interrupt her plans to shrink the city and become the biggest baddy of all. While she makes a list on what to shrink, the Spiders try to figure out a way to escape the tank so they can get to the shrink ray and use it to return to normal size. Together, they use a pet's food ball to make a web trampoline, and they are able to bounce out of the tank through the feeding hatch.
CAL spots them, and tries to warn Doc Ock. But she is too busy with her shrink list, and brushes off his warning cries. The Spiders make their way to the shrink ray, only for CAL to show up. He chases them across Doc Ock's work area, and even though he is bigger than them, the Spiders are still able to handle him. They wrap his tentacles with their webs and distract him with one of Doc Ock's inventions, a bubble machine. The Spiders manage to reach the shrink ray, but CAL gets to it first and stands guard. Spin uses his invisibility to lure CAL awat from the shrink ray. He chases him into Doc Ock's chemistry stuff, causing a flask to hit the off switch on his head. CAL goes into sleep mode.
Doc Ock has finished her shrink list and is ready start shrinking. She finds CAL and wakes him up. Then she notices the Spiders have escapes. So, the two start searching for them. The Spiders get to the shrink ray and turn the switch from shrink to grow. In order to zap themselves back to normal size, they trick Doc Ock into zapping them with the shrink ray with the intention to shrink so small they will disappear. Their plan works, and the Spiders grow back to normal size. Doc Ock quickly turns the shrink ray on herself and grows super huge. However, she becomes too big to fit in her lab and gets stuck. The Spiders shrink her down back to normal and then wrap both her and CAL up in their webs. Then they use a mirror to reflect the shrink ray back onto itself, causing it to shrink until it disappears. The Spiders have foiled Doc Ock's big plans.

- The title is a reference to the song Itsy Bitsy Spider, which the Green Goblin sang during the climax of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, while its melody was played by Electro at the climax of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
- It is also named after the original nursery rhyme.
- For unknown reasons, this episode, along with "Gobby's Rotten Pumpkin Hunt", was unavailable when the first season was released on Disney+. By Spring/Summer 2023 both episodes were added to the streaming service.
