Jeffrey Jacob "J.J." Abrams is an American film and television producer, director, screenwriter, actor, and composer. He is best known for creating the television series Alias and Lost for ABC. He has also directed the films: Mission: Impossible 3, Super 8, and the 2009 Star Trek reboot and its sequels: Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Trek Beyond.

For Disney, he directed The Force Awakens and The Rise of Skywalker.[1] He co-wrote the latter with Chris Terrio, and produced Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which Rian Johnson directed.
