Jacob Batalon is a Filipino-American actor, who, for Disney, is best known for his role as Ned Leeds in the Marvel films: Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), and Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026).
Career[]
Batalon made his acting debut in 2016, where he made an appearance in the horror film North Woods.
In 2017, Batalon landed his first major role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, as Peter Parker's friend Ned.[2] He reprised the role in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, and the 2019 sequel Spider-Man: Far From Home.[3] Batalon reprised his role as Ned Leeds in the 2021 film Spider-Man: No Way Home and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
In 2018, Batalon played one of the bodies inhabited by the entity "A" in the fantasy drama film Every Day.[4]

- He appeared in the Netflix Christmas comedy film Let It Snow, alongside Descendants actor Mitchell Hope in 2019.
- He is best friends with Marvel co-star Tom Holland.
- In October 2020, Jacob revealed he had lost a lot of weight prior to the beginning of filming Spider-Man: No Way Home.[5]
- He wears a wig for his role as Ned Leeds, and is the only Spider-Man supporting actor to do so.
- He became engaged to girlfriend Veronica Leahov in March 2025, making him the second Spider-Man actor to get engaged, following Tom Holland and Zendaya's - Batalon's co-stars from Spider-Man - in December 2024.
