Jacob Benjamin "Jake" Gyllenhaal (pronounced "gill-en-hall") is an American actor. He known for his roles in films such as Donnie Darko, Brokeback Mountain, and Nightcrawler. He is the son of legendary director Stephen Gyllenhaal and younger brother of actress Maggie Gyllenhaal.
For Disney, he played Prince Dastan in the 2010 Disney fantasy adventure film, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. He also played Jimmy Livingston in the 2001 Touchstone Pictures film, Bubble Boy, Joe Nast in the 2002 Touchstone Pictures film, Midnight Mile, Harold Dobbs in the 2005 Miramax Films film Proof, and Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
