The James–Jennings House is where Avery, Tyler, Chloe, Bennett, and Ellen live in Dog With a Blog. The house is located in an unnamed neighborhood in Pasadena, California. Most of the episodes start at this home. It is one of the many places in the show in addition to being one of the main backdrop locations.
Description[]
The house has a southern appearance with brown ceramic roof tiles, white walls in the exterior, and an iron railing on the top floor deck. The doors in the house are brown.
The living room is the most visited spot of the house, and every member of the family, including Stan, is mostly seen here, as are guests. It has a sofa, chairs, rug, and displayed on the walls are childhood photos of Avery, Tyler, and Chloe. Behind the sofa are stairs that lead to the children's and parents bedrooms.
The next room after the living room is the kitchen/dining room. It was here where Avery, Tyler, and Chloe found out Stan can talk. Two doors go outside of the house: one to the backyard, the other to the street. One time, it was "claimed" by Chloe and Stan when they were playing together.
The house also has a private Study, where Bennett works on his psychology papers and writes his memorable books. It is also where the family photo album is kept.
Outside in the backyard are a shed, an outdoor dining table, and barbecue grill. There is also two doors leading inside: one to the living room, the other to the kitchen.
Next, you would go upstairs. There is a hallway that goes to four different rooms; however only Avery's room is physically shown. In here is where the kids would talk with Stan in private during climactic moments of an episode. Other times, it would be just him and Avery since it is her room.
