James Monroe Iglehart is an American theater actor, voice actor, and singer who originated the role of the Genie in Aladdin the Musical. He won the Best Featured Actor role for the 2014 Tony Awards for his role as the Genie. Before Aladdin, he stared as Bobbie in Memphis the Musical. He is a true Disney fan, and a kid at heart, who spends a lot of time in Disneyland. He voiced Lance Strongbow in Tangled: The Series, Bronzino in Elena of Avalor and Taurus Bulba in the DuckTales episode, "Let's Get Dangerous!". He will portray Phil in the stage adaptation of Disney's Hercules.
