Maurice William Elias, known professionally as James Stacy, was an American film and television actor. He was best known for his role as Johnny Madrid Lancer in the late 1960s TV western Lancer.
On September 27, 1973, Stacy and his then girlfriend Clara Ann "Paeai-Pai" Cox were taking a motorcycle ride out when a drunk driver hit them, resulting in the death of Cox and Stacy losing his left arm and leg. His ex-wife, Connie Stevens, organized a gala to raise money for Stacy's expenses, and soon after won a lawsuit against the driver. Stacy opted to return to acting, this time taking roles that accommodated his amputation.
For Disney, he portrayed Charles Bryant in the 1963 Disney live-action film Summer Magic. He also portrayed Ed, the Bartender in the 1983 American supernatural horror fantasy film Something Wicked This Way Comes.
