Jamie Lee Curtis is an American actress and author. For Disney, she portrayed Tess Coleman in the 2003 remake of Freaky Friday and Aunt Vivian "Viv" Ashe in the 2008 comedy film Beverly Hills Chihuahua. She also played Gail Byer Olsen in the 2010 Touchstone Pictures film You Again, as well as appeared as Dr. Judy Peterson for the Ellen's Energy Adventure park attraction at Epcot. She also played Madame Leota in the 2023 Haunted Mansion film reboot. Additionally, for Hulu/FX, she played Donna Berzatto in The Bear.

Curtis was born in Santa Monica, California, to actors Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh. She attended various private schools before later going to the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, and studied law. She dropped out after one semester to pursue an acting career.

Her film debut came in 1978 as Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's classic horror film Halloween. She would continue the role in several sequels and a reboot trilogy from 2018 to 2022. Aside from appearing other horror films, such as Terror Train, Prom Night, and The Fog, Curtis appeared in a variety of genres from comedy to drama with films, such as Escape from New York, Trading Places, A Fish Called Wanda, My Girl, My Girl 2, True Lies, The Heidi Chronicles, Christmas with the Kranks, and Knives Out. Her television credits include Columbo, Operation Petticoat, Charlie's Angels, The Love Boat, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Shelley Duvall's Tall Tales & Legends, Anything but Love, The Drew Carey Show, NCIS, New Girl, Archer, and Scream Queens.

Curtis has also written a number of children's books since the 1990s.
