Jane Baer was a Canadian assistant animator at Walt Disney Feature Animation from 1959-1988.
Her career began in the mid-1950s as an animator on Sleeping Beauty where she worked alongside Marc Davis in designing Aurora and later Milt Kahl in designing Medusa for The Rescuers. Jane also worked on animated works for both Hanna-Barbara and Filmation. She later married Dale Baer and the two would later open their own studio, The Baer Animation Company where they aided in animating and producing works such as Last Action Hero, Tom and Jerry: The Movie, Rover Dangerfield, The Beautician and the Beast, and Annabelle's Wish. Jane kept the studio going even after her divorce from Dale. In addition to many commercials, feature films, and special projects, Jane supervised the Toontown sequences and Benny the Cab for Touchstone Pictures' Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
