Janja's Den is a location in the 2015 TV film, The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar and its 2016 follow-up series The Lion Guard.
It is based in the Outlands and is the home of Janja, Cheezi, Chungu, and the rest of their clan. It is said to have the only known volcano within traveling distance of the Pride Lands.
Appearances[]
Return of the Roar[]
The den first appears when Janja berates Cheezi and Chungu for letting Bunga go after he was saved by Kion via The Roar of the Elders. Just then, a vulture named Mzingo arrives and informs Janja of Kion assembling a new Lion Guard to protect the Pride Lands.
Upon hearing this news, Janja and his clan sing "Tonight We Strike" and plan to take down as much of the Pride Lands' animals as they can before the new Lion Guard is formed.
The Lion Guard[]
The den is a recurring place in the series. But it is very rarely at the center of attention.
"Can't Wait to be Queen"[]
Mzingo flies to the den to inform Janja that Kiara has been made temporary queen and is squabbling with Kion. This gives Janja an idea to take advantage of Kiara's inexperience and take over the Pride Lands.
"Fuli's New Family"[]
Upon learning that he is immune to snake bites, Bunga believes that he is invincible and goes to the Outlands and attempts to climb the den's volcano, but is confronted by Janja and his clan. Luckily, Bunga is saved just in time by Fuli.
"The Traveling Baboon Show"[]
Janja finds two baboons named Mwevi and Mwizi in his den and chases after them.
"The Rise of Scar"[]
Ushari uses the volcano to revive Scar.
"Battle for the Pride Lands"[]
Scar is destroyed and Ushari is thrown in the lava.
