Matthew Jay Roach is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is probably best known for directing the Austin Powers film trilogy and the Meet the Parents franchise. He is also well-known for directing other films, such as the 2010 comedy Dinner for Schmucks and the 2012 political satire comedy The Campaign. Aside from directing, he also produced certain films, such as 50 First Dates and Sisters.
For Disney, he directed the 1999 Hollywood Pictures drama film Mystery, Alaska and produced the 2005 Touchstone Pictures sci-fi film The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
