Jean-Jacques Villard (often credited as J.J. Villard) is a French-American cartoonist, animator, filmmaker, producer, director, writer, and voice actor. He is best known for the creation of several shows on Cartoon Network's late-night programming block Adult Swim, consisting of King Star King and JJ Villard's Fairy Tales, as well as the failed pilot Trap Universe. He's a graduate from the California Institute of the Arts, and is best known for his careers at Cartoon Network, Sony Pictures Animation and DreamWorks Animation.
Villard also served as a designer for Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, and has also pitched Portal Hoppers to Disney Television Animation, as it was going to be for Disney XD, but likely was passed around the time Disney decided to return Disney TVA shows to Disney Channel.
