Jean Lyndsey Torren Marsh, OBE is an English writer and retired actress, best known for her portrayals as Rose Buck in Upstairs, Downstairs (1971-1975) and Queen Bavmorda in Willow (1988). She made her film debut in the 1951 film Lady Godiva Rides Again, as an uncredited Beauty Queen Contestant, with her first credited role being in The Limping Man (1953) as the Landlady's Daughter. Since starting her acting career, Marsh has been known for playing a wide-variety of characters, from heroic to the wicked, and has received recognizable acclaim for several of her performances.

For Disney, she portrayed Andrienne in The Horsemasters in 1961. She also portrayed the wicked and sinister Princess Mombi and her real-life counterpart Nurse Wilson in the the 1985 live-action unofficial "sequel" to The Wizard of Oz (1939): Return to Oz.
