Jean Elizabeth Smart is an American actress and voice actress, who is best known for her television roles as Charlene Frazier-Stillfield in the CBS sitcom Designing Women and Martha Logan in the Fox drama series 24. She also voiced Reba Heyerdahl in the Nickelodeon animated series Hey Arnold!, Maggie Foley in Static Shock, and Stella in Balto III: Wings of Change.
For Disney, she played Kate in Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey, Deirdre Lafever in The Kid, Stella Kay in the 2002 Touchstone Pictures film Sweet Home Alabama, Kate Sanderson in Bringing Down the House, and Regina Newly in the ABC sitcom Samantha Who?. She also voiced Dr. Ann Possible in Kim Possible, Asako Tsukishima in the Disney English dub version of Studio Ghibli's Whisper of the Heart, and Momalus in the Hercules TV series.
