Jed the Wolfdog was an animal actor. Despite having only a few roles, he made an impact within the film industry. His first major role was portraying the dog at the beginning of the John Carpenter film The Thing.
For Disney, he portrayed Wolf in The Journey of Natty Gann and the titular character of White Fang and White Fang 2: Myth of the White Wolf.
