Jeffrey Michael Tambor is an American actor and voice actor, well known for his deep tenor voice. He is best known for his roles as Hank Kingsley on the HBO satirical sitcom The Larry Sanders Show, which he recieved several nominations for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. and as George Bluth and Oscar Bluth on the Fox sitcom Arrested Development. He also played Augustus Mayhoo in the 2000 adaptation of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas. In addition, he voiced King Neptune in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and King Peppy in DreamWorks' Trolls.
For Disney, Tambor voiced Santa Claus in the 2007 Disney direct-to-DVD film, Pooh's Super Sleuth Christmas Movie, as well as in the Doc McStuffins episode "A Very McStuffins Christmas." He voiced the Big-Nosed Thug in the 2010 Disney animated film, Tangled (a role he reprised in Tangled: The Series). He also voiced King Salmoneus in the episode "Hercules and the King of Thessaly" of the Disney animated series Hercules: The Animated Series, Randolph Verascola in The Proud Family episode; "Romeo Must Wed", and Nigel in Sofia the First. Tambor played the Wizard in The Muppets' Wizard of Oz. In addition, he had a guest voice spot on Dinosaurs as Hank Hibler. He originally voiced Glossaryck in Star vs. the Forces of Evil for the first three seasons before he was replaced by Keith David. He also played Maury Garner in the 1995 film, Heavyweights and Mr. Salomone in Eloise at the Plaza and Eloise at Christmastime, a lawyer in Under the Tuscan Sun Uncle Alby in Crossing the Bridge and Roy Preston in Magic Camp.
