James "Jim" Jinkins is an American animator, producer, writer, and storyboard artist. For Disney, he is the creator of Doug, PB&J Otter, 101 Dalmatians: The Series, JoJo's Circus, and Stanley.
A caricature of Jinkins (and voiced by Rob Paulsen) appeared in "Dalmatian Vacation" as Willie, the leader of an alien cult.
Doug was turned into a feature film in 1999, which was titled Doug's 1st Movie, in which Jinkins served as both the creator and producer. At the end of the VHS release, Jinkins and the film's co-producer David Campbell hosted a documentary entitled "Dougumentary", in which they and the rest of the people at Jumbo Pictures explain how the Doug TV show was made.
Jinkins is married to Lisa Jenkins, and has two children: Molly and Heath.
