Michael James "Jim" Kouf Jr. is an American film and TV screenwriter, director, and producer. He is well known for creating the NBC supernatural drama series Grimm (alongside David Greenwalt and Stephen Carpenter) for which he also served as a director and executive producer. He also wrote/directed/produced for several films such as NBC's Ghost Whisperer. Kouf has also wrote screenplays and/or produced several films such as Rush Hour and Taxi. For Disney, he wrote the screenplays for several live-action films, such as Operation Dumbo Drop, Snow Dogs, and the National Treasure film series. He also wrote and directed the 1989 Touchstone Pictures heist comedy Disorganized Crime.
