"Jingled" is the second segment of the eighty-first episode of Big City Greens.
Synopsis[]
Tilly wants to become a Big City jingle writer and rising through the ranks.
Plot[]
The Greens are at the farmer's market selling their goods with Tilly making up short jingles on the spot. While Bill appreciates the effort, he only wants her to help sell their produce, even though her jingle making makes people happy. A woman named Bonnie Spark takes an interest in Tilly and offers that she work at her company Big Jingle so that she can make people happy, as well as make money. Tilly immediately takes her up on her offer, with Cricket forcing himself into the deal as well as her "talent agent". The two get a tour of the building and learn about Rick Razzle, the top jingle maker who unfortunately has lost his love for jingle making.
Tilly's first job is to make a jingle for Odd Apparel and is given a test audience to work her ideas out on. She ends up being a natural, making the test audience smile at her jingle writing abilities. Rick overhears how everyone is responding to Tilly's songs and invites her to his office where he reveals that he has grown bored with jingle writing and now wants to retire by putting Tilly in his position. She accepts, as well as Cricket due to the perks, and Bonnie gives Tilly her next assignment of creating a jingle for Mama Roni's Pizza. Back at the farmer's market, Bill and Alice are struggling to sell their goods so they try to improvise songs like Tilly with mixed results.
Tilly suddenly becomes stressed by her work as she has to get a new jingle done in six hours, but time flies by quickly and she cannot come up with a tune. She heads down and sees Bill and Alice having fun with making up songs and realizes that she forgot why she liked making jingles to begin with. Tilly arrives at the meeting to announce that she will no longer be writing jingles and return to her old life, though she does give Mama Roni the jingle she made, which they love, and Cricket takes all the things they got while working at Big Jingle. Cricket and Tilly go back to the farmer's market, happier with their life while Rick belts out a long note, something he always wanted to do.
