Joely Kim Richardson is an English actress, who is the younger daughter of Vanessa Redgrave, the younger sister of the late Natasha Richardson and the niece of the late Lynn Redgrave. For Disney, she portrayed Anita Campbell-Green Dearly in the 1996 Disney live-action remake of 101 Dalmatians.
Richardson was born in Marylebone, London and appeared as an extra at the age of three in the 1968 film version of The Charge of the Light Brigade, directed by her father, Tony Richardson. She began her education at the independent St Paul's Girls' School in Hammersmith. At age 14, Richardson moved to boarding school at the independent Harry Hopman Tennis School in Tampa, Florida. In 1983, she graduated from the Thacher School in Ojai, California, then returned to London to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and graduated in 1985.
Richardson has appeared in films, such as Wetherby, King Ralph, Shining Through, Loch Ness, Event Horizon, Return to Me, The Patriot, The Affair of the Necklace, The Last Mimzy, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Snowden, and Red Sparrow.
Her television credits include The StoryTeller, Behaving Badly, Agatha Christie's Poirot, Lady Chatterley, Nip/Tuck, The Tudors, Emerald City, and The Blacklist.
