John is a human passenger aboard the Axiom. He has blond hair and is featured in the 2008 Disney/Pixar animated feature film, WALL-E.
Role in the film[]
While about his usual business around the Axiom, John met WALL-E, he believed that WALL-E was a waiter bot and told him to take his drink, but WALL-E did not understand why John was telling him to do so and John fell out of his chair. A couple of Stewards go to their area and told John to wait for assistance. WALL-E helped John into his chair and they both said their names, then WALL-E saw the MVR-A carrying EVE, he went after them and John said goodbye to him.
When WALL-E and EVE left the Axiom to recover The Plant, both robots began to dance through space, Mary (another passenger who also met WALL-E and thanks to him, she discovered the various activities that were on the Axiom and the beauty of the space by turning off her connection to the ship's systems) saw WALL-E and EVE through the window, Mary accidentally bumped into John and turned off his connection so he could also see the robots dancing, John recognizes WALL-E and they greeted him. Upon seeing each other, they quickly fell in love. They are later seen on the Lido Deck late at night when no one else is around, playfully splashing in the pool, against the objections of a robotic lifeguard that John playfully splashed to shut it up, shorting it out in the process.
When AUTO tipped the ship over to free himself from Captain B. McCrea, John and Mary saved a bunch of babies that fell out of their hoverchairs as they themselves were, he then observed with the rest of the Axiom Passengers as Captain McCrea stood up and charged at AUTO and deactivated him to right the ship again. He then helped with bringing The Plant over to the Holodetector as the Axiom made its jump heading back to Earth. John then departed the Axiom with the rest of its passengers, becoming one of the first humans to have ever stood on Earth in over 700 years.
