John William Oliver is an English comedian and political satirist, who is best known for his work on late-night talk shows and sitcoms, such as The Daily Show, Community, and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. He is also well-known for voicing Vanity Smurf in the Sony Pictures live-action Smurfs films, as well as Steve the porcupine in the 2019 Paramount/Nickelodeon computer-animated film Wonder Park.
For Disney, he voiced Wax Sherlock Holmes in the Gravity Falls episode "Headhunters", Coach Green in Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, and Zazu in the 2019 realistic CGI remake of The Lion King.
