The Jolly Trolley was an attraction at Mickey's Toontown at Disneyland and Toontown at Tokyo Disneyland.
History[]
The Jolly Trolley was a cartoon spin on the Pacific Electric Railway system featured in the Who Framed Roger Rabbit film, stopping at the Mickey and Roger Rabbit fountains, while a single station bench area was placed in the middle of the route. However, due to its low capacity and safety concerns, the Disneyland version would close in December 2003, while Tokyo's would close after the 25th Anniversary concluded in April of 2009. Since then, the Jolly Trolley vehicle was displayed by the station as a photo opportunity while the station eventually housed a Disney Vacation Club kiosk. When Disneyland's Toontown underwent a major overhaul in conjunction with the 2023 addition of Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, the Jolly Trolley's station and track were removed to make way for CenTOONial Park.
