Jonathan Majors is an American actor. He rose to prominence after starring in the independent feature film The Last Black Man in San Francisco. In 2020, he garnered wider notice for portraying Atticus Freeman in the HBO television series Lovecraft Country.
For Disney, he portrayed He Who Remains and voiced one of the Time Keepers in the first season of the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series Loki, and Victor Timely in the second. He also portrayed Kang the Conqueror in the 2023 film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
On December 17, 2023, Majors was found guilty of assault and misdemeanour, and as a result Marvel Studios cut ties with him. As a result of this, the "Council of Kangs" concept was scrapped, with Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., as the main villain in the next Avengers two-parter (Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars).
